Have you ever been taught the roots of Socialism? Socialism in the United States started in Indiana in 1825. A wealthy Scottish textile manufacturer purchased the town of Harmony, Indiana. He renamed it New Harmony, purchased a bunch of land around the town and brought over several hundred of his followers to start a “Social Experiment” in social living and social governance.
